Cyc: Bayley into sprint semis
ATHENS, Aug 23 AAP - Australian gold medal hope Ryan Bayley is through to the semi-finals
of cycling's men's sprint at the Olympic Velodrome.
Bayley beat Barry Forde from Barbados in the first two races of their best-of-three
quarter-final to move into tomorrow's semis.
He set the fastest time in qualifying yesterday and tactics hardly came into the contest
with Forde as he simply outsprinted him in both races.
