Parnas duo finds thrills in past and present.(Arts-Events)

Violinist Madalyn Parnas and cellist Cicely Parnas keep such a busy schedule of concerts throughout the greater Capital Region that it's easy to forget they're still practically kids - just 17 and 15 years old, respectively.

Among their engagements in just the coming weeks, the sisters from Stephentown, Columbia County, will appear at the Troy Saving Bank Music Hall's free Music at Noon series on Tuesday, May 13, and will be the featured soloists in nothing less than the Brahms Double Concerto with the Lake George Chamber Orchestra on May 18 at the Hyde Collection in Glens Falls.
